​What form of Pilates works best for you?

In Pilates there are different kinds of apparatus you can work out on, Reformer Cadillac, Chair, Barrel, to name a few, these all help you to tone, lengthen and strengthen your body, 



You can do Pilates on a Mat.  This method is what most people use as it is done in a group setting.  

I offer the use of a Reformer, Tower, Spine Corrector and Baby Arc equipment. Depending on what the body needs there are exercises for everyone.  Thats the great thing about Private Pilates Sessions - you work to your ability and build on it.

I also have classes which I run within the local community centre in Kilwinning (maximum of 10 students per class).  Classes are kept small so that I can ensure everyone is doing the exercises safely.

What is Pilates?


a system of exercises using special apparatus, designed to improve physical strength, flexibility, and posture, and enhance mental awareness.

Joseph Pilates created Contrology (now known as Pilates), there are all different styles and types of classes which call themselves Pilates, find what suits you best.

Pilates is not anything like Yoga so please don't think it is.  Pilates is not relaxing it is a work out, it can be altered to suit each body, as no "body" is the same.
